Grace Can Change Your Child

Why is it that the "Heart Transformation" treatment model works so well in changing the lives of troubled loved-ones? Because any home that incorporates the culture of daily study and application of God's Word will produce diligent students of God's Word. It is not enough to tell your children to study God's Word, you must create a culture in your home that hearing God's Word is the norm. Obviously parents have to begin by role-modeling the importance of daily Bible devotion and studies.

Psalm 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Learning the Word of God daily is the secret within the Heart Transformation treatment program.  The more I study God's Word, the more faith is produced to access that Grace necessary for me to have victory over sin and to live godly to overcome it. Praise God!

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The same gift of Grace that brought us salvation also teaches us to live soberly, righteous and godly while we are in the world.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

We cannot take any credit when we live soberly, godly and righteously or else it is no longer Grace because it is the gift of God, and not of ourselves lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Whenever you pressure, whether implied or expressed, your children to change their ways and attitude, without empowering them with the culture of daily Bible study, and the understanding that it is God's Grace alone that can change their lives, you set them up for failure.

The only way to change a heart is to instill the "seed" of God's Word into it. A seed has the nature of the thing it came from. The nature of God that you possess will dominate your life once instilled. Its the nature of an orange seed to produce an orange tree. Jesus is the Word of God. Once the Word of God takes root in your child's life, she will automatically take on the nature of Christ.

You can dress up a mule to look like a race horse and yo u can train it to carry a jockey but take that mule to the race track and he will still be a stubborn mule.

Once a person has the nature of Christ in them, they may try to go back to their old vomit but it won't be the same because of their new nature.

Start today and begin changing the culture of your home. Blessings to you and your loved-ones. It would encourage me if you could share your thoughts about this blog.

There is Purpose in the Pigslop

It is a scary thing to be a parent and one day discover that your little baby has grown up is no longer communicating with you and being defiant. Then one night, what was once your baby is now your troubled teenager. Hours have gone by and she has not come home. Your mind is racing with every terrible thing that could have possibly happened. You find yourself out of control and the days and nights become a tormenting eternity. It is at this point that a parent comes to the realization that she has lost control and in need of outside help.

For this and many other reasons parents seek out treatment centers. And for those who hold Christian values dear to them, they seek out Christian treatment.

Hope4Teens is a resource placement agency that has compiled a network of Christian ministries who are committed to biblical family values. They work seamlessly by complimenting one another with services that make for a holistic solution.

It is critical to obtain understanding in order to cope with this crisis and succeed in reaching the heart of a child. The Word of God gives us tremendous insight with a popular parable that has timeless truths. This is the story of the "Prodigal Son."

The story is about a son that had an unfulfilled desire in his heart to experience the things of the world. No Christian parent wants their child out in the dangerous world of partying, alcohol, drugs, sex and predatorial relationships.

But on the other hand the prodigal experienc can be one of the most powerful life experiences one can ever go through.

It is important to allow your child to go through their pig slop experience.
When a parent gives up control to God through a runaway situation and does not enable their child by giving them money or allowing them to come home, it allows them to hit a brick wall and reach the end of their rope. When they hit the bottom of the barell, coming back to the program is the only option. Only now they do it out of willingness. God blesses those that honor their parents and curses those who hold them in contempt therefore, their experience on the street will not be a good one. God has to break the vessel to build it up again.

Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched.
